AMREF, drug giant boost children’s health
Three years ago, in 190 primary schools across Soroti district, the retention rate of pupils in class was 8.4%. However, the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) and pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) have worked together for the last three years to make that figure 52.4%.

Uganda still struggling to accept surrogate mothers
